MOT Youth Football & Cheer

 2023 Traditional Cheer!


🏈 What to expect this football season?
All athletes will learn sideline cheers, motion and jump technique, tumbling, stunting, and routine choreography. In addition to cheering on the football teams during our Sideline Saturdays, each team will perform choreographed half-time shows! Teams will learn a choreographed routine to be performed at an end-of-the-season cheer competition or showcase (details TBD). 

📑 Registration fee includes:
  • Uniform (Shell, body liner, skirt, and brief)
  • Poms
  • Hair-bow
  • Practice T-shirt
  • Breast Cancer awareness accessories
  • League and gym fees 
🗓 Practice:
Athletes will practice 1 weekday evening with additional practice time available before the football games on Saturdays. Practices will begin the week of Aug 7th, 2023.

  • Team Introduction/Draft Day Ceremony - July 31 & Aug 1
  • Performance at the Blue Rocks Baseball Game - Aug 25
  • League Pep-rally
  • UD Youth Cheer and Dance Day* (typically early Oct)

  • Stunt clinics*
  • Fall Fest hosted by MOTYFCL
  • Family Fun Night hosted by MOTYFCL
  • Middletown Winter Parade*  (typically early Dec)
  • Partnership with local high school cheer programs

🏆 Competitive Cheer: 
All athletes are welcome to join us for the competitive cheer season following the conclusion of our football season. In November, we will communicate additional information and open registration for this program. Competitive cheer will run December through March and include 2-3 local competitions.
